Performance
New equipment is guaranteed to perform according to manufacturer specification for up to five years.  If United Office Systems is unable to repair the equipment, we will replace it with a machine of equal or greater capabilities. Remanufactured equipment is guaranteed for three years.

Uptime
Customer equipment is guaranteed to operate at 98% uptime. Uptime is calculated quarterly, based on average 40 hour work week.  A 1% service credit will be issued towards the next service invoice for each percentage point below 98% that the equipment is down.

Loaner Equipment
A machine of equal or greater capability is guaranteed to be provided if your equipment is to be out of service for more than eight business hours after the technician has arrived.  ‘Loaner’ equipment will be delivered the next business day.

Service Response Time
United Office Systems guarantees a four-hour service response time. Breach of response time will result in a 10% credit towards next service invoice.

End of Lease Purchase
Customers may purchase equipment from a Fair Market Value Lease through United Office Systems based on a 15% residual value. Residual value is based on the sale price of the equipment.

Lease Upgrade
Customers may upgrade any leased equipment thru United Office systems at anytime with no buyout penalty and with remaining payments forgiven.  The original lease is terminated and a new lease is then executed.

Asset Adjustment
Customers may, at any time within the first four (4) months of a new lease, asset adjust to a larger machine. The existing lease and terms remain the same. The customer pays only the difference in price for the larger machine.

Purchase Upgrade
Any existing machine a customer previously purchased from United Office Systems will receive a trade –in value towards the purchase of a new machine.

Maintenance
United Office Systems guarantees Factory Trained Service technicians, genuine brand parts and genuine brand supplies for your equipment. United Office Systems guarantees to offer to provide all parts and supplies for your machine for up to ten years from date of purchase either under a maintenance contract or as a billable account.

The above guarantees are in effect as long as the customer maintains a current Service & Supply Maintenance Agreement with United Office Systems and adheres to the terms and conditions of that agreement.

The above guarantees are frozen if the customer account becomes past due and the above guarantees are forfeited if the customer account is terminated by United Office Systems due to 
non-payment or the customer cancels their maintenance contract with United Office Systems.

A down machine is defined as any machine that cannot produce or receive an impression (copy, print, or fax). Accessory failure such as document feeder, sorter, etc. does not constitute a down machine.
